I am a compassionate and caring therapist who at the same
time expects that my clients will be serious and committed to making positive
changes in their lives. If
possible and with the agreement of the client, I will spend several consecutive
hours (at least in the beginning of therapy) with clients. I’ve found that longer sessions help
people move forward faster and the overall amount of time that people normally
spend in therapy is greatly reduced.
I focus on helping my clients get to the root of their problems, with the acknowledgement and understanding that we can’t change history. Throughout this process clients are able to emotionally work through issues from their past so that they are finally able to live fully in the present, without having one foot in the past and one in the present. They are then able to successfully move forward with their lives and their relationships.
There are times in our lives when we could all benefit from some coaching. Not everyone needs intensive individual therapy. Sometimes we just need someone to listen to us and take us by the hand and guide us in a new direction. Professional athletes, musicians and artists all have coaches to help them get to the next level. If you find yourself faltering and don’t know why and what to do, life coaching can very well be the answer to help you move forward with your life and I take particular pleasure in providing this service to those who feel it best serves their needs.
